Looks Like Rain But Tastes Like Tea

"The world is a book and those who do not travel read only one page." - St. Augustine

What makes you should go to England?

Many of us will answer; “Have never get there yet”, ”Many say that England is a beautiful place to go”, "it looms large in the heart of romantics everywhere", ”Big Ben”, “Harry Potter !” ”BEATLES !!”, ”CHELSEA !!!”. The answer will absolutely different if the question proposed to me, well ........ CHELSEA !!!

But its true, the answer that will crawling out of my throat will be different.

My imaginations. Yes, my imaginations.

"The use of traveling is to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking how things may be, to see them as they are." - Samuel Johnson.

My journey for #InggrisGratis all started not from anywhere, but my imaginations.
I’ve imagined something beautiful from beaches, lakes, icy mountaintops and tropical rainforests. Imagined something unique such as riding a horses in Flores and an elephants in Way Kambas. Imagined something naturally like swimming with jellyfishes in Raja Ampat, gets a cold feet on top of Jayawijaya peak.

So, what’s my imagination about England?
Looks like rain but tastes like tea. How could it be the rain tastes like tea? Did i lost my mind? Genius!

Decoding the phrases?

Here, i’ve read some article about England and most of them literally said that it rains a lot there. But, England truly does have it all – an immense capital city filled with endless gems, a countryside that could swell the hardest of hearts, a lively pub culture, and a history so rich, it oozes from every cobblestone and street corner. And of course, FOOTBALL !! Yeaaahhh !!
Yes ! Every raindrop is a tea.
Here is some taste to trigger your imagination about England :

But then, they said the best imaginations is not as good as the worst reality.

So? What’s all that mean for me? I never know why should i go to England. I dont even know “Why England?”. But its weird that i’m still imagine about it. Imagining my jawdrop and the burst of heartbeat if i could stick this tiny feet on the smooth grass of Stamford Bridge. Imagining the splendor of Buckingham Palace. Imagining how the Indonesian men imagined about a big trip to England rather than a little trip to their own country, Indonesia. Why people would contextually KILL everything to get this trip? How England could freely change the Indonesian brain ways to think about Indonesia? What should i do with people imaginations just if i know the reality that exist behind all those imaginations.? Obviously, the rain that really hit me hard until i fell down to the ground is not all of that imaginations, but the people who imagined about it too and didnt even imagine about the potentials of Indonesia.

I make the chance to bring reality.
If i have an imagination but do not try to bring reality. I am only the resounding gong or clanging cymbal. We have all heard about England from mouth of man a million times, but few can tell the truth. I want to tell everyone that just imagined the same way like i did. And yes, i make the chance to bring reality for Indonesian people.

"If you have an idea, write it! otherwise, you will forget it." - Steve Jobs

I really let every fresh idea out from my head. Let it tickle my little fingers, and makes it dance on my keyboard. One word, two words, three words start to giggle in my monitor. My little words introducing me with commas, points, quotation marks, and some emoticons. You should meet them, they are really friendly. Those friendly little things helping me build the sentences. The sentences slowly shows me the reality of paragraphs. Every word is precious for me, just like every laughter of a baby. Every word really just like a rainbow step to reality. WTF is rainbow step? -__-

Rainbow Step. Beautiful isn't it?

Yes, reality will be more amazing than imagination friends. And yes, i make this chance to compare England and Indonesia. Who knows that someday Indonesia will be able to become "England" for England people if we dont try to bring reality? I will let you know the reality. I will share its beauty to you if i win. Later we can share it to our country. Indonesia. So we dont need to imagine again to make our Indonesia tastes like every raindrop in England.

The Reason.
So, why should i go to England? Simply, i want to answer the imagination with reality. I really want to use this little step (#InggrisGratis) to regulate imagination by reality, and instead of thinking “Why?” “How?” “What?” things about England may be, to see the reality behind the beautiful sparks of every imagination and the mysteries of every question. Lets make our Indonesia tastes like tea.
To my mind, the greatest reward and luxury of travel is to be able to experience everyday things as if for the first time, to be in a position in which almost nothing is so familiar, it is taken for granted.

Wait me, England :)
